His Story
Toby’s family took him to the vet with an ear infection but changed their mind while there and decided to ask the vet to have him euthanized. Thankfully, the vet tech was able to talk them into surrendering the dog instead of him losing his life that day, and so he came to Famous Fido Rescue. Toby is very hurt by what happened and needs a kind, compassionate soul to show him love in his senior years. He has some ailments, but nothing that can’t be worked through with love and care. He does have a leg deformity, an ear infection (that is being treated) and his matted coat is being shaved off. Toby seems very friendly and would likely be okay to share his future forever home with other animals.
His Sponsorship
Toby will need sponsoring for his daily needs at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great. Toby does have an ear infection and a leg deformity (see pictured) which will require special care / veterinary follow ups.
