His Story 

Claude was surrendered to our center because his people said they had no time for him. He is only a puppy and they only had taken him from his litter a few months prior. Claude came in with a long matted coat, but beneath it we felt his scrawny frame, with bones protruding from under his skin. Poor Claude was seriously underfed and neglected. Claude needs someone to help see him through to a happy, healthy future. He will need a quality diet, mental stimulation, exercise, and basic training. He needs a dedicated guardian where he can get the attention he needs and deserves. Claude is underweight now, but we expect that he should grow to about 18lbs once he reaches adulthood and has gained weight at a healthy pace. 

His Sponsorship 

Claude will need sponsoring for his daily needs at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Claude especially loves bully sticks!
