His Story 

Poor Leo was abandoned by his family. They had set him loose outside when they no longer wanted him. He was found by a concerned citizen, and we learned what happened when we scanned his microchip and contacted his former people. He is very sad. When he came in his hair was matted and his frame was thin. Leo has been having some digestive issues with taking to dog food. He likely hasn’t had good nutrition in a while. He needs a lot of nurturing. He’s a good dog, he just needs someone who will take the time to focus on him. 

His Sponsorship 

Leo will need sponsoring for his daily care at the center, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
