Their Story 

Cagney and Lacey are a devoted mother-daughter duo who have been each other’s world through thick and thin, but now they need a loving home where they can stay together forever. Cagney, the 3-year-old mama, is gentle and nurturing, always looking out for her 1-year-old daughter, Lacey, who is playful, affectionate, and full of life. These sweet Shih Tzu mixes were heartlessly abandoned, but they still believe in love and second chances. They thrive on companionship, both with each other and with their humans, and would do best in a calm, caring home where they’ll never have to worry about being left behind again.

Their Sponsorship

Cagney and Lacey will need sponsoring for their daily care at the rescue, including for their food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of their rescue journey, and they would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
